It was indeed a great honor to launch a new book/guide from ISHRAE on “Net Zero School” during the glittering ceremony at Radisson, Chennai, under the presidency of Dr. Sarvannan. He is the first president from an academic background and will lead ISHRAE for the next one year.

Thanks to the jury members of IDAC Infinity Awards for recognizing PDA and presenting the award for “Pioneering Sustainable Practice” at a glittering ceremony at the Jio Center, Mumbai, on 13th March 2026.

We hope that our event and the speeches by President William McQuade and myself inspire young professionals to join the HVACR profession.

The faculty coordinator, Er. E. Satish, is a very dynamic teacher and took us around the various laboratories on campus. It was a delight to visit the HVACR lab set up by Daikin at the institute.

It was a great start to President William McQuade’s 10-day visit with an event at LICET University, Chennai. The program was attended by 240 engineering students. The current chapter has a strength of 30 members, which I am sure will soon grow to 100+ members.
