I’m not saying he’s best to ever to do it, but has anybody ever been better than Jeff Gordon from 1994-1998? Yes I know JJ won 5 straight Championships, but he didn’t do what Jeff Gordon did. In those 5 seasons JG won 3 Championships, won 32 races, 22 poles, and led 8,734 laps

@AllDayOutlaw @KyleBusch I was around for that time and I loved it. I actually went to Saturday or Friday night NOAPS races specifically to watch Kyle Busch or Kevin Harvick or Brad K. Chase’s first win at Texas was awesome because he beat 3-4 Cup guys. I loved that time.

@Di9Fans The only thing I can say is if you were around when @KyleBusch and the cup guys were kicking the young guys asses every week it was frowned upon. Now the cup guys go win in O’Reilly and get praised. Not that it matters but I agree with your point

@andyjohnson_ No that won’t happen lol… although I think it’s always been hard to have 4 competitive cars. It’s just inevitably hard to have 4 cars and 4 teams that are fast. No matter how much money you have.

I am as excited for next week as I have been in a long time. The way drivers have been talking, cars are gonna be all over the place next week at Darlington. A low grip/high HP with soft tires and points mattering race at Darlington has such a 90s feel to it.

@SoonerFBfan It was. He was the beneficiary of both great pit stops and other misfortunes on pit road. Realistically I think he was about a 5th-7th place car, but come home P2 is awesome. He was catching Denny but also think Denny is a master at doing “just enough” in that situation.
