Hello archaeologists! Who can recommend a moderately-priced tablet ($EUR/USD 1K or $AUD 1.5K) for use in the field? Does anyone have experience with using e-ink tablets in the field? Thanks!!!

@DiBiaseDyson The Yale team in Edfu uses ipads for field documentation and in Kom Ombo we have one too. They are reliable and have a long lasting battery. You can install any image processing or drawing software.

There is a comet (67P) of which every area is named after an Egyptian god! space.com/29980-rosetta-…. Fascinatingly, some names are not arbitrary, e.g., Hapi for the middle section (like the Nile). The probe giving us information about the comet is, tellingly, called 'Rosetta' <3
