@hjluks See next comment for another one! Saw 5 this year (around 2.5% of tears roughly) Certain tear patterns are more likely to heal on their own. The degree of laxity can also be predictive of healing. More predictable/faster recovery to undergo ACL Primary Repair for types 1/2.

Advance TR down and apply ABS button below and tighten cinches to reduce and hold fracture via “button sandwich” with bone in between.

When I did my first ACL Repair in 2008, I had a good feeling that this technique would change the way knee surgery is done in the whole world. Well, judging from these videos sent to me by Dr. Umer Butt from Karachi, Pakistan, I think my feeling was pretty accurate. #savetheacl

This patient is 6 days out from simultaneous ACL and MCL Repairs. She was told to be in an MCL brace for 2 months, and then have ACL Recon surgery before she came to us. Now, she likely will be able to run at the two month mark and not need any further intervention! #savetheacl

Jennifer had a VERY RARE injury. She tore BOTH ACLs during the same fall skiing! We repaired both knees in the same surgery and she did great! Running in 4 months and back to skiing the following year. Happy for you, Jennifer! #SaveTheACL
