I think we as a fandom don't realize how terrifying Malleus actually is. Like, yea he's oblivious to social norms of modern generations and has some nerdy interests (gargoyles and his Gao Gao Dragon), but this dude can literally trap you in your sleep and overwrite reality.

@HexnorSora Exactly. And that's why I like him, because even though he's such a powerful being and has all that strength and authority as the heir of Briar Valley, he still longs for simple things, such as friendships with people that see him as just "Malleus" .

@DiHiTOrI But that's the whole point of Book 7, right? He has such immense power which is why everyone was terrified. But beneath his arc, writer tried to pass on a message to us.
