As a fan of this series since DAY 1, I am sad at the news of Black Clover transferring to another magazine and potentially ending in 2 chapters. More than 8 years it has been since I have followed this series. From Mangastream to Jaminibox to bad scans it was pretty fun following the series week in week out. Seeing the anime pop off maybe in a bad way or a good way in some sense due to the sales it got and having an anime original movie was truly an experience. Jump Giga for Black Clover resumes in December, so what to expect? From december onwards expect chapters to be every 3 months and 50-60 pages MINIMUM = 4 chapters in weekly currency. This decision has been made due to the health of Tabata from the past year Tabata has been taking breaks after breaks mainly due to his family being at the hospital. Family> career so we as fans have to respect this. We wont get the ideal ending that we all wanted. Thank you Tabata for writing Black Clover. #BlackClover

Since the 24th, after posting on X, I haven’t been able to eat properly at all. It hurts my heart so deeply to feel as if all the efforts of my friend—who has supported me so much by helping with translations, lettering, and sharing news on X—have vanished into nothing. My SNS manga, Sunday’s Momonga shared about 55 pages on X, but in truth, I have drawn 140 pages over the past year. I believed X was the only place where this work could be released, shared with readers around the world, and enjoyed together. To see that place collapse breaks my heart. But what hurts the most is the screaming that keeps echoing inside my head. A long time ago, I watched myself and my fellow artists in Korea—people who had done nothing wrong—being taken from, attacked, and humiliated. I watched what happened to their lives and their dreams. As for my own life, I lived through it myself. Those wounds still bleed, even after decades. They will never heal—not until the day I die. Until the very last second of my life, they will keep bleeding. And now I have to watch the people I love—those who draw—go through the same suffering. I have to watch them give up drawing and leave the world of comics. Now, this is happening all over the world. I have escaped many times before, and I will escape again this time. But I know this very well: there are many people who cannot escape. Because the field they have built is precious to them, and because they know that the moment they leave, everything they have worked for will fall apart, they are left with no choice but to endure the pain, the humiliation, and the exploitation. A artist cannot endure even a single pen line or a single dot of their drawing being altered by someone else. Because it is our precious, beloved child. Throughout my entire life, even when I taught my students, I almost never corrected or altered their drawings carelessly. Well... there were only a few times, and even then, I did so only with their consent. Because I knew those drawings were their precious children. Even if it was just practice, the drawing was born from our own hands. To create that drawing—our drawing, a drawing like our own child—we have lived by giving up so many of the joys and happiness that others freely enjoy. And we will probably continue to do so. I believe this. Because my fellow artists in Korea have endured this pain for decades. This is what it means to draw. If you do not know this feeling, if you cannot understand it, then you do not understand ‘drawing.’ Actually it is very easy and simple to understand. That drawings are precious to us. You already know they are precious, right? That’s why I haven’t been able to eat properly since Christmas. Drawings... They are precious… They are truly, deeply precious…

That has already gotten established manga content. It’d be extremely off IMO for the anime to have alot of original scenes whilst the manga was rushed for no apparent reason. Just my 2c

Ima just say while i heavily despise the conclusion of that fight. I can just not have any copium in me to expect the anime to whole heartedly fix it. This is just very hard to fix and studios GENERALLY just dislike making alot of anime original content for a series -

I can express my disappointment in something while also still respecting it, the fuck is wrong with some of u. Bad chapters dont wipe everything else great about the series. I still owe my life and my current self to BC and Tabata, I wouldnt be half the person I am without it.

Just my 2 cents on this and i really dont want to hear anyone call me a fake fan. its a disgusting approach after the 2 years of having to deal with this slop of a release that the conclusion is like this.

The former seems more reasonable just because it doesnt make sense for shuiesha to tell an author to wrap up the series when they are giving him an anime.

#BCSpoilers given current schedule the next giga chapter will be set in late april-early may… its pretty disgusting imo that it looks like Tabata “may” of given up on the manga or got told by shuiesha to wrap it up.

@Not_Bakasta I'm from 2025. Black Clover just ended, Patri is still the best antagonist, the last arc fumbled, and the series is regarded as one of the most hilarious in WSJ.

@Kisanyy Just saying this is exactly what i think shouldve happened. The delays were too long and the story progression was just terrible overall.

If I speak on this ending and how the entire situation folded oh man… #BCSpoilers Just saying, Tabata did not need to go switch to giga and produce this crap. I could look like a clown in a couple months time but truly see it being a 1 more issue and series ends.

I will never understand the dislike towards certain staff on black clover. Should be grateful the finished article is way better than most series get nowadays and people expect absolute perfection for what? I’m just happy the series is back alive and it looks better than before😎
