@motomatters Couldn’t agree more, use a cb500f (pretty much the same bike) to instruct on , also used by our students hence the l plates. Fantastic bikes, agile cheap to run ( 77mpg) and a real bargain at the price , would highly recommend

So todays dilemma , a fantastic charity shop find , a 30 year old @Airfix kit in perfect condition, still in its plastic wrapping. Should I open it and build it or keep it as it is ?

@Neevesy33 I dropped my 1200gs yesterday , wasn’t ready for my pillion when she got off and lost balance, whole weight of the bike ended up against a wall on nothing more than the screen , it didn’t break 😀 no damage nobody hurt .

The 2 males were quite loudly making comments about how it wasn’t a job for a man, only I knew he used to be charge of the armies bomb disposal squad.

@MichaelRosenYes French teacher in 60s, Mr Fox, was a diffident man who failed to teach me French. To me he was a figure of fun. Years later tv prog about French resistance showed photos of British spies. There for a moment was the face I had viciously caracatured on the bike shed wall.

Our French teacher was Mrs Hill. She was French. She said she was Madame 'eel'. She wore black high heels black hair piled on to her head ringlets down the side of her face painted nails tight skirt. We had French names. I was Michel. 'Michel!' she said. I liked French a lot.
