Key hitters GT 🐝 v Clemson 🐅: In a series where two top 10 team play, you’re looking for your stars to play like stars. For Clemson, look no further than Tryston McCladdie. TMac is batting .400 with 5 home runs and 21 RBIs. He also totaled 8 SB, showing a rare combination of power and speed. Tryston has showed his display of power early in the season, already matching his HR total from last year. TMac will need to keep up the hot bat for Clemson to have a shot this weekend. Drew Burress. Everyone knows the name. Burress is one of the top sluggers in the country and is projected to be one of the top picks in the draft next year. Drew is a true 5 tool player who torched the tigers last year with one of the longest home runs ive ever seen. He picked up this season right where he left off. He’s batting .353 with 3 HR and 14 RBIs, which doesn’t jump off the page but his bat is by far the scariest on the team and in the ACC. Clemson needs to attack the zone and not let him get ahead in counts because Burress has tallied 16 walks.
