When a president or any public figure impacts your mental health, it's time to take a step back. There is so much more to life than politics. Your life is still moving forward. Imagine growing old and looking back, only remembering 12 years of your life being about hating one man. Go hug your kids. Go for a walk with your spouse. Reconcile with your loved ones and simply avoid talking politics with them. You may find out they didn’t change. You did. Rediscover the hobby you loved before 2016 took over your existence. Just some advice for a friend. No shade.
