@CyrHatsuko Having routes for them to see without the stress the top end gives to show them they won't be a burden or struggle means more chill people get into this content, and the quality of PF just goes up for the betterment of all

@CyrHatsuko Stuff like this is why im glad more accessibility and options to bridge the gap from casual to high end exist and are being added; the overwhelming majority of people who want to are super chill, but worried they'd be a burden/hold people back.

Had the most fun I’ve had in FF in a while last night. I joined a random PF as a tank for Sphene wings, and the vibes were immaculate. Immediately we were all cracking jokes, myself and the warrior were trying to shirk TBs to other members of the party (who were openly asking for the shirk btw LMAO). The group quickly forgot about wings and just had a good time. Just made me happy to see people genuinely having fun ❤️

@KevinDahmer @Mikahaha_ Thats the thing, if someone leaves then yeah, it just collapses. If someone DCs though, people will tend to wait, as theres a good chance if any mistake happened the prior pull some degree of lag or crash was causing, and are more then willing to give the benefit of the doubt

@Diantheris @Mikahaha_ I am genuinely kinda shocked by this news. PF groups tend to crumble to a stiff breeze from my experience.

FF players are so used to stating that this is just kinda the norm that sometimes we forget that other games/styles/communities exist that do otherwise

@KevinDahmer @Mikahaha_ I dunno, I've had a wing farm group wait 15 mins for a reconnect, and a M10S reclear party wait 20 for someone

@Diantheris @Mikahaha_ I don't do Savage in PF anymore. Not after Rastapasta. But I think High-End content in PF is the last place anyone is going to wait should someone DC. If you've pulled more than once before a DC, that's a ragequit. More will follow momentarily, and it's back to PF for the rest.

@KevinDahmer @Mikahaha_ I misread that as "not savage" and thought even most savage PFs will wait when someone DCs, they've been waiting usually around 30m anyway, another 5-10 for a clear pull is fine

@Mikahaha_ I absolutely HATE when someone DC's right at the start of the dungeon, because I am morally obligated to wait like 10 minutes for them, even if they actually just ragequit. But I'm not a savage, so I wait, and welcome them back should they return.

@woops But the real big part is: it sets the foundation for some big changes in the future and go deep into unique playstyles as well as job fantasy due to no longer having to limit things for fear of button bloat or the 2 min buff window restrictions.

@woops How I see the system is, the fundamentals are going to be much easier, providing a better entry level, but the skill expression is going to soar where you can easily see the difference between a new and experienced players.

After sitting on it all day man, I'm so excited for this. Creating a dynamic environment and toolkit can potentially make battle content SO fucking fun, it can make every pull a straight up reactionary masterpiece. So many unique strats and play styles are coming (1/2)

@spofiee Its always such a devicive topic and extremely case by case. Like, XIV is definitely overall a less toxic MMO experience, but at the same time in 1 year I had more mentors tell me to kys then groups in total over almost 10 years of WoW
