@KickingMachinee Those kind of tweets that are constantly downplaying are getting annoying. Things like this were exactly the reason why the game was so bad during season 2 and beginning of season 3. Just accept the well deserved nerfs and move on please.

I never said the character shouldn’t be nerfed. We all agree that Hwoarang’s 10f launcher needed to go. But db4 CH launcher should have been damage nerfed instead of removed entirely. And most importantly, Flappy Kick, one of Hwoarang’s core moves for years, should not have been taken out.
Compared to Tekken 7, Hwoarang has lost almost all of his launchers except for maybe two. Backlash no longer launches, f1+2 CH no longer launches, RFF b4 CH no longer launches,LFS F3 Was ch launcher before now heat. RFS B3 same and no launcher without heat. and now Flappy Kick doesn’t launch on CH either. The sad part is that the character is starting to lose his identity, and the moves he’s had for years are slowly being removed.

Hwoarang barely has any CH launchers left in this game. For a character who isn’t even in the top 10, this is too much. The risk–reward aspect of Hwoarang is almost completely gone. It feels like he ended up this way just because people hate the character. If you’re going to nerf him like this, then at least make backlash or f1+2 CH launchers again.

Hwoarang is dead. There is no longer any reason to play Hwoarang. Even when he was nerfed in Season 2, I did research and hard training to try and salvage the character, but I no longer see a future. I was very stressed out by this character's inefficient skill structure and unreasonable system elements, but looking at today's patch, there is no longer any need to play this character. It is time to look for another character.
