Especially late in the evening I think about all the wonderful adventures I shared with our exceptional Clarence. Our home is filled with his presence. Gradually over time I will tell of some of our tails of fun and outright naughtiness. I whisper to him my thoughts of #BTPosse

Beans, tonight I have ripped up some more carpet, chewed on mum’s canvas, stole a role of poop bags and trailer them through the house, tried to steal food and bited the back of dad’s arm. No one said having a puppy was easy 🤪😈 love Dolly norty chops*

I have been feeling guilty since A) because I had her off lead in a new park and B) because I shouted at the other dog’s owner. We 3 were in a corner of the park, minding our own, playing some games. When a cockapoo came chasing over, his dad shouting at him all the while. We were a good 200m away. I wasn’t that worried as both my dogs are well socialised. However, the dog tried to hump Bob and was playing very rough, which scared Dolly and she bolted before I could catch her. By which time the puffed out owner was still some way off. Dolly kept running, and the dog kept chasing. Out of the park gates, up the slip road, toward the main road. I was sprinting, he was still yelling his dog’s name. FINALLY, she made a turn and doubled back. He finally caught his dog, with the help of another couple. I was then able to coax Dolly back. She was in flight mode, tail between legs. A reminder to me: new park, new dogs that I don’t know, back to basics, long line. Maybe, hopefully a lesson for him: more recall training needed.

Tails of a pupster: My absolute most favourite game in the whole world is ‘chase me’. But last night a cockapoo boy chased me and I got scared and ran very far away from my mummy, out of the park and up the road. My mummy was scared and cried and cried. I’m now back on my long line if other dogs are around. One paw forward, two paws back. Love Dolly pup**
