Day 1 of the 12 Days of Christmas @DickensonES started at 6:50am when the first elf was found and ended at 3:03pm with the last elf. They really worked up an appetite searching and stopped by the nacho bar for lunch. 🎄

A day in the life of a kindergarter is so much fun in @V_for_Valdez. She keeps students engaged in pumpkin activities starting with reading and then incorporates them into math and science.

It was a great day @DickensonES! @TBLightning came to visit and do practice drills with our 1st-3rd grade students. They loved it!!!

Our @DickensonES #MathMoments this week feature our HARD WORKING students! Trips to the Treat Cart, Meeting and Exceeding Goals, Collaborating with Peers, and Using Strategies to Solve! Our Dolphins are CRUSHING it!

This week's #MathMoment features Student Data Day! Our 3rd-5th grade teachers met with each of their students to review their data and set individual goals for this year! #GrowthIsTheGoal @DickensonES! My Math Coach ❤ was so full!!!

This evening, Board members voted to extend the existing mask mandate for an additional 30 days. The mask mandate is now in place until October 15, 2021. The Board allows for a medical exemption opt-out of the mask mandate.

Thanks to @l_fogarty for the workmat!! We had to decide whether the problem was multiplication or division and used it to organize our thoughts before solving @DickensonES !!

Today we accelerated for our next unit on division by making connections to 4th grade and using base ten blocks. Loved watching the collaboration and hands on learning happening in 701 @DickensonES (Hope @l_fogarty shares those cookies 🍪)
