@DictionariesApp do you have plans on bilingual dictionaries without English? Like Russian - Serbo-Croatian.
As I see in app demo, there are only English pairs of bilingual dictionaries for now :(
I'm happy to announce the release of Dictionaries 2, a new major version with many improvements:
- Brand-new reworked engine
- Richer dictionaries
- macOS Ventura support
- Improved pronunciation audio
- Improved dark mode and styling

@wordsauce There seems to be some confusion. Dictionaries adds extra dictionaries *that your OS doesn’t have* to your OS. Your OS comes with English dictionaries. Ergo, Dictionaries naturally doesn’t contain English dictionaries - your OS *already* does.
Checkout for Dictionaries is currently being affected by an AWS outage. If you’re unable to purchase right now, please try again in a few hours. Check out the link for more information: paddle.status.io
Just released version 1.3 with support for pronunciations audio in Look Up (yay!) and on macOS Mojave. Now with #InternetAccessPolicy support for @littlesnitch too.
@mikaelstaer It is not — it *adds* dictionaries. Both how to uninstall and the behavior you’re probably seeing (absent any support contact with more details) are explained in the FAQ: dictionaries.io/faq
@hrabeX Ne. Zprzněnou pseudo-“češtinu” neumím a umět nechci. Navíc macOS umí vyhledávat bez diakritiky, vč. slovníků, takže k tomu není ani žádný praktický důvod.
