Another common method was seeing a simple banner in front of the house that said “2-bedroom for rent.” Just very simple. People looking for houses in a specific area would go around, looking out for these signs and making enquiries from other tenants in the compound. They would ask if they could see the landlord. Back then, it was more straightforward. No agreement fees, no commission wahala. But now… agent must make 100% profit abi? #housing #landlord #househunting
