I will repeat this again, as long as Flick is still here, winning the league won’t be difficult. The man has achieved a lot with minimal quality squad depth and yet here we are. Flick has done 80% of his work, the remaining 20% is far more deeper than you think. The 20% is the board’s inability to backup the manager with inadequate funds. This is deep-rooted because seeing the promise land (winning the UCL) depends on it. This alone forced the manager into making questionable decisions and our best players were sacrificed in the process (injuries and fatigue). Flick has overachieved with this squad and anyone who claims otherwise is just naive. It’s abysmal to compare Flick’s work to Xavi’s because no sane person will do such.

It’s always the same story with Lamine Yamal. Just when think you’ve his best performance, he ends up proving you wrong. You know what I find crazy? We lost against Atletico in the UCL this week, yet he’s not mentally fazed. He’s simply the best in the world and no one can disagree with that. 100 games already for Barca at 18 and he capped it off with 2 brilliant assists and 1 goal. You can never undermine his qualities. To possess such tenacity to play like this without a natural RB is just not normal. I’ve honestly run out of superlatives to describe him. We’re really blessed.

Lamine has been incredible this season, especially this month. What fascinates me is the fact that every game he ends up giving you “ this is his best performance so far this season” kinda vibes. Consecutive 10/10 performances non-stop. Our best attacker and player tonight. Frenkie de Jong has finally realized he has monster abilities and making very good use of it. His intelligent assist aside, he bossed the midfield tonight and made created massive final third chances tonight. Fan fact: Frenkie ends up getting either booked, suspended, or gets sent off after every masterclass. 😂 Lamine will also give you the best player in the world performance and finally make a funny decision, just for you will to actually realize he’s just 18. 😂 We should take the win, but looking at the amount of big chances we created, we could’ve done a better job in the final third this evening. Flick won’t be happy about how poor we’re in front of goal tonight.
