JMPD K9 officers, acting on intelligence about a vehicle linked to cargo truck hijackings, stopped a black Mini Cooper fitted with illegal blue flashing lights and sirens. The vehicle was pulled over in the West Turffontein / Kliprivier Drive / Rifle Range Road area. Inside were four male suspects. None could produce proof they were legitimate police officers. They were arrested for impersonating police officers and the illegal use of blue lights/sirens.
