@NIKKE_en I was against them doing the anime, buh now I change my mind. The outpost is mildly exactly the way I imagined it. Buh I thought it was 3m below the surface not fully on the surface.

@BSpace8_ @TheNCSmaster Aaaa bueno. Esque a mi me encanta el lore y la historia, pero para nada ignoro ni el fanservice ni los bond stories y demas. En todo caso, hago lo posible por intentar cuadrarlo en el orden de la historia, porque en teoria, todo es canon. Nikke es el conjunto de todo ello.

But at some other times, he's his own character that might make choices you wouldn't "agree" with, which I actully find more interesting

@Weevil2077 @Kaiza_Tenbu Yes sometimes commander is just painfully oblivious. That's kinda what im saying though. When players can't relate to commander they generally get mad or disinterested. And that's the case with mint storyline imho.

When chapter 18 - 19 first dropped, a lot of people were off put by Johan. Turns out hes the bro Commander has always needed After Goddess fall, Johan just became another one of the goated male NPCs Nikke has. His dynamic with Noah is so endearing

@Poomeister2 @sure_keen Yeah, at the start he was pretty harsh with the Commander. Although their dynamic started to shift with the tracking of Nihilister (during Johan's war games tests) and especially during the mother whale chapter, with Johan teaching him how to be more useful (with the turrets)

@sure_keen At the time, people didn't like the fact he almost killed Commander, then actively dissuaded Commander from continuing his missions on the surface Ofc the more you learn about him the more people came around and understood where he was coming from. Good written character

@Wandering_Edge I think Johan might have still been around at least a few years after the second surface reclamation war ended, advising on making surface engagements focus more on guerrilla tactics as an Elysion advisor? I might be misremembering some details though.

The Central Government tried to kill them for pretty much being successful. In Johann’s case he ended up as a symbol just like Pretty did, they literally called him New Hope, so when the Second Reclamation War failed the placed all the blame on him and even tried to kill him. We also learn from Shifty that “our predecessor” was heavily involved in Politics and ruffled a lot of feathers due to being pro-NIKKE and fighting for NIKKE Rights, our character points out this was also Johann. Cecil is a bit more simple, she was a MMR Researcher who was supposed to be the countermeasure to Enikk prior to them deciding on Sixo. Problem was they wanted to kill Cecil and turn her into an AI, so she fled.

@Nikke240822 Release order is ideal for first playthrough. Chronological order is best for reviewing the story and gathering the lore.

@DetectiveEvy @SyndarNailo @amarmos_alter True, although i do think there was something going on between Oswald and Arthur's dad (special ops agent) due to the small hints in their conversations, like after freesia gets turned into a Nikke, near the end of the phonecall.

Someone also pointed out that Arthur, being the adopted son of Oswald, saves Andersen meaning the VTC destruction has to happen at least several years after Pretty dies. So that puts VTC's elimination and Neon becoming a Nikke 2 years later at around 60 or less years ago

@DetectiveEvy @SyndarNailo @amarmos_alter Out of curiosity as a fellow Nikke player, what part of Andersen's dialogue made you think the VTC wipe could have happened after the 2nd surface reclamation war? From other hints in the story, I'm having a hard time pinpointing the point it could have happened.

@SyndarNailo @amarmos_alter Even so, yeah, Neon is older. Neon was a kid 2 years after the VTC was eliminated and that would have been at most, 75 years ago. Maybe after the 2nd reclamation war possibly based on Andersen's quotes. Neon is likely in her 60's or possibly 70's.
