@DieselLaws I love working on my mac. Allows me to do all my dev from the couch when the kids are asleep.
Gonna take a lot for me to bite the bullet and move to my office just to do it in windows... But might have to.
And not, not targeting mac as all, just like working on the device tbh

Having some issues in Godot with my game movement. It can be fast-paced and I'm experiencing stutter. Occasional frame advance, some frames displayed twice.
Created a barebones scene with just character and collision.
The only fix so far, 120 ticks per second vs 60. Any issues?

@MjTheHunter It’s odd indeed. Personally I just switched to PC from MacBook so I don’t have to worry about all of that (obv not a solution) - unless you’re targeting Mac/iOS it’s just too much hassle and work arounds.

@DieselLaws Don't have Magnet installed.
But trying a full update and cleanup now. Really strange.
I might try a completely new project and see how it performs

@DieselLaws Everything should be divided correctly, but I will make sure to double check.
I've found that vsyn solves the issue completely. But on my Mac at least the FPS drops below 60 which is a another problem.. Unless I'm using a barebones demo scene, then I can sustain 60 FPS with vsync

@MjTheHunter Good plan - It's always better knowing the game is backed up! Helps in the far future too when you can look back on the early versions

Video games are unique. If you've never felt the beautiful artistry from interacting with the design of a game like Tetris, Pac-Man, DOOM, Super Mario Bros., or any other game Where You Just, Like, Play It, then you simply don't understand the value of games as a medium.

Seriously though, why is Windows search so utterly shit when this amazing app exists? Like, buy them out or copy it idc just fix the base search it’s embarrassing

Genuinely once I started using this I went a little insane. Searching for files on windows is SO BAD by default that I thought we had run up against some law of physics. But no, searching for files can just be instantaneous. Microsoft is just evil and stupid.
