Weeding has commenced with haste. It's been a very wet winter at times and I've still a bit of ground preparation to do. Removing bindweed roots has been an annual winter past time this past decade or so but still more invade each summer. #allotment #GrowYourOwn

After the recent storms I finally got around to repairing the roof. It might be in the New Year when I get around to sorting out inside and getting rid of water damaged stuff.

Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary I seem to recall I had more time on my hands, literally. I had just broken my right hand in a car accident a few days before Christmas and so had my first Christmas and New Year break off work in decades.

Finished sorting out the allotment association members' seed orders on Boxing Day and started to distribute them today whilst sorting out my plot.

Harvesting rhubarb and runnerbeans today.

Harvested the last of my winter kale yesterday before replacing the dilapidated fence between mine and Paddy's plot with rabbit netting.
