These giant spheres are within 0.05% of a pure mathematical golden ratio. Then, multiply in the odds of the Moon and Sun aligning (entirely independently of that Kepler triangle) to produce perfect eclipses, both solar and lunar… ie: the Sun is ~400x the moon’s diameter, and ~400x farther away. What are the odds there? Then multiply in the odds of a life-supporting planet-moon system forming at all, with a *giant* moon that stabilizes tilt, gives us tides, and lets complex life form. Just the odds of Earth supporting any life at all is like Goldilocks on crack. Then multiply that by the odds of *conscious* life evolving here to witness it all, with the resources to build the tools to measure it. Then multiply the odds of us being here *right now*, in the tiny cosmic window when eclipses still happen, before the Moon drifts too far for them to work. Then multiply by the odds of the golden ratio appearing again and again in math, nature, music, etc. It beggars belief already. Now get underneath all of THAT, and multiply the odds of the laws of physics themselves allowing any matter to exist at all. Mathematical constants like the Fine-Structure constant, the cosmological constant, or Euler’s identity (numbers that physicists like Feynman openly admitted were bizarre and beyond human reckoning) You’re looking at something like 10⁻¹⁰⁰⁰⁰, at least. That’s like plucking a single atom out of all the atoms in the universe at random, scattering them again, and picking the exact same atom the second time. Now repeat that, 100 times in a row. And don’t even get me started on innate good and evil, synchronicity, the supernatural, or DNA being code that builds tiny nano-machines. This place was created and tuned. And we’re here for it. 🍿🙏

@ShayQarsenal @GadSaad @elonmusk Are you retarded? @grok please explain to this man why his reply is only mildly adjacent to what Gad is saying here, and that Gad wasn’t suggesting an “ought” or even disapproval at our violent lineage.(Also put Gad’s words at a 7th grade level so Shay can understand the point.)

@VerumInvenire @askaya Wait. Maybe I’m free?! This one isn’t “limited” nor is yours when viewed from my end. I’m gonna have to test it out in the wild. 🍻

If abortion is "playing God," so is chemo, insulin, and C-sections. Funny how only women's medical choices get called sacrilegious.

@KeyOsc It ain’t convenient for someone like me. I don’t like being put in the same box as red hat MAGA or pro war shitheads, nor does having a realistic view of IQ put me in the same box as racist fucks. Merit + IQ > “race/ethnicity/sex” 100% of the time.

@Digging4Freedom Nah it refers to ideology not politics. But of course no one can be cleanly sorted into one category, it's just a term of convenience.

@deuceohsixx Dude my wife’s coworker saw someone load a shopping cart up to the brim with liquor and just wheel it out to his car, unload it, and come back in the store and do it again. When the store security guard “intervened”, the guy walked right past.

Huh? Apparently you missed my point. The main part of being a “right winger” is being a “right wing” voter, no? I don’t vote for republicans, and trump is a conman. The shit I believe in was considered mainstream democrat in the 90’s. Closed borders, free speech absolutism, merit rather than race or sex preference in hiring (it’s flipped anti-white male now, but the principle is still there), pro environment, anti corporate, on and on.

Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $3,100 rent and $10 eggs. You didn’t graduate with $60K debt and no job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.

lol only retards took out huge student loans. Total suckers and authority-believers. Only morons live somewhere that has rent that high - unless those degrees require living near an expensive city, meaning they should pay well enough that these “problems” are affordable. (Btw inb4 “boomer”; I’m 44 and live in Yakima WA with 2 kids and one income, and am most of the way done paying off a house we paid 200k for.

@shagbark_hick @LexLiberty76 You’re just making shit up. How “many”? Can you validate this “information” or “fact”? Like 20? Out of 350,000,000 people, you aren’t making a strong point.

@LexLiberty76 You may not understand just how many families there are in the US who actually *prevent* their kids from freely reading and self-studying in the manner you describe.

Look, pro-homeschooling people are piling on this guy but he's not wrong at all. I know of families who are straight-up failing to teach their children beyond a 2nd-grade education. Like 16-year-old kids who don't know what the Capital of the US is, have never heard of Toronto, and could not perform a basic algebra problem. While it's true that there are many excellent homeschooling families whose instruction far exceeds that of any public school, the fact is that the American system of "school your kids however you want" does also yield a lot of severely stunted kids who get stuck playing "catch-up" for the rest of their lives. My wife was homeschooled, we might homeschool, I'm not averse to the practice per se, but it's a fact that there's a whole world of multi-generational homeschoolers who are not and will not rise above a 2nd or 3rd grade education level by their own volition. Should the state intervene in these cases? I dunno, the answer to the question is not as "easy" as many make it out to be. The idea of barely getting through 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' at the age of 16 should be appalling, and it IS happening in some American homeschooler families.
Just Jim@JimsTweets

Do Homeschool kids just like, not have to take tests or exams or get grades? How does the government know if the child is actually getting an education and not just like, being neglected
