Y si os dijera que existe un JRPG de PS2 que... no es JRPG? Ese juego se llama Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, (conocido como Crimson Stigmata en Japón). Fue desarrollado por el estudio surcoreano Softmax, asi que tècnicamente estamos hablando de un KRPG. A pesar de su apariencia JRPG, es uno de los pocos RPG coreanos que logró una distribución masiva internacional en consolas. Detrás de este juego hay grandes mentes como la de su diseñador de personajes Hyung-tae Kim, que es famoso por fundar el estudio Shift Up, que mas tarde desarrolló Stellar Blade. La banda sonora corrió a cargo de la compositora Sung-hye Song, esta artista logró capturar la atmósfera trágica y de guerra del continente de Efferia.
