@Freeborn_001 @QANAT_IO That’s a very valid point, the balance between control and openness is at the heart of the data sovereignty conversation.
We’d love to hear more of your perspective on this. Join us on our X Space tomorrow to continue the conversation and share your insights.

That’s a real trade-off. Data localisation can strengthen control, but it can also limit openness if not balanced well. It’s why some approaches focus more on who controls the data rather than where it sits, which is the direction @QANAT_IO is taking with identity and data ownership.
English

We will be unpacking these issues and more in our upcoming X Space: Whose Data Is It Anyway? Why Africa is Losing the Most Important Resource of the 21st Century.
Join us live this Friday, 20th March 2026 at 7pm (WAT).
