@SimisolaTomori @TosinOlugbenga @OsinachiNuel She cannot get COS because the rule from switching to another type of visa from student visa is that one must finish his or her studies unless on special immigration exceptions. She can leave and return through another legal route. I wish her all the best 🙏

I need honest opinions on this situation because it’s getting really complicated and emotional for someone I know 🙏 She has given her permission to share this. A lady came to the UK 🇬🇧 around September last year as an international student. Around that same time, she met a guy during one of their work shifts. They became friends first, kept talking consistently, and eventually started a relationship around January this year. According to her, the relationship was serious. This guy constantly told her he loved her, wanted exclusivity, and saw a future with her. There are voice notes, chats, and messages to back this up. They became intimate and at some point had unprotected sex. She said she took a morning-after pill afterwards, thinking that would prevent pregnancy. At the same time, she was already struggling with tuition fees. Eventually, her school withdrew her admission because she couldn’t keep up with payments, and now the Home Office has told her to leave the UK. She has only a few months left on her visa and is currently trying to sort things out through a lawyer, possibly applying for FLR, but nothing is guaranteed. A few weeks later, she noticed she still hadn’t seen her period. At first she assumed it was stress from everything happening. Eventually she went to the GP and was told she was already about 8 weeks pregnant. Now everything has changed. The same guy who said he loved her and wanted a future together is now saying he is not ready for a child and wants absolutely nothing to do with her unless she aborts the pregnancy. He’s become angry, distant, and according to her, has basically withdrawn emotionally from the relationship. The lady is 31. The guy is around 35. She says she doesn’t want to terminate the pregnancy. She feels emotionally attached already and believes this may be her chance at motherhood. But she’s scared. She may have to return to Nigeria if her immigration situation fails. Her family already knows, and surprisingly, her father is more supportive of her coming back home than trying to struggle alone in the UK. Some people have advised her that raising a child alone in the UK without support from the father could become extremely difficult financially, emotionally, and mentally. Now she feels trapped between: • keeping the baby and possibly becoming a single mother • aborting a child she says she genuinely wants • returning to Nigeria to start over • or trying to stay in the UK with no certainty about immigration or support She’s emotionally exhausted and honestly doesn’t know what the right decision is anymore. So she genuinely want public opinions: If you were in her shoes, what would you do? Should she keep the pregnancy? Should the man be held more accountable? Does she realistically have any chance of building stability in the UK right now? Or is going back home the wiser decision? Please be honest but kind 🙏

Randomly remembered the day armed robbers came to rob us during my weekend duty at the bank 😪, ojo buruku, esu gbomi mu.. Let me take you guys back… It was on a sunday, unfortunately, I was on weekend duty with my OM. That was the same year I started working in the bank. We had already loaded all our ATMs, both the ones inside Banana Island and Awolowo Road, so we were exhausted, I suggested we have our breakfast at Chicken Republic before going inside. On our way back to the branch, my spirit just didnt want to go straight inside so I told my colleague : “Let's check machine 3 to see if it’s still dispensing” (only the machine dispenses 1,000 notes, so people used it a lot and because of that, it jammed easily) Immediately we stepped into the ATM room, we hadn’t even opened the machine when we heard: “EVERYBODY, YOUR HEAD DOWN, HEAD DOWN BEFORE I BLOW YOUR HEAD”🙆‍♀️ Omo, it felt like a prank, in my head: “hands up, head down.. That's an armed robber anthem na” I started crying immediately. My OM: “Hands up ke? We peeped through the door and we saw real life robbery.. 10 armed men with guns… he rang the police, no one was picking.. Out of fear my OM gave me his phone password, that was when I knew it was over… I also sent a text to my mum and told her that I had small savings in my Zenith Bank and she's my next of kin… They collected phones, money and ATM cards from people withdrawing cash from the ATM, they even stopped a guy coming from the church, and they collected everything on him.. Now tell me why one of the women on the queue, without the fear of God shakily, said: “The bank is open, the banker are inside, you people can go in instead.” My OM and I looked at each other's faces and did “haaa” Next thing, they told our security man to get up and lead them inside. That was when my OM and I quickly did “move move” and entered the control room 😪 In my praying mind: “God if you save me from this, I will use my salary to help the poor, i will serve you forever, I will repent, I don’t deserve to die ontop 5k” Long story short, while inside the control everywhere suddenly started smelling urine. My OM: Ife, can you perceive urine smell Me: 🫩🫩 I’m sorry My Om: wait, o to Sara? ( you urinated) All my body was soaked with urine, didn’t know how it happened.. See the gist long.. anyways, our security man resigned the next day with a text msg through his wife’s phone🫩

In Dec 2024, I worked a shift in Derby, and we somehow closed late. It was already past 12am to Dec 25 and buses wouldn’t start working until around 4am.. I didn’t want to order Uber because there was no point spending so much money just to rush home. The bus fare was just £3 while Uber was about £65, so I dropped it on Twitter asking if anyone stayed in Derby so I could just stay somewhere for like 3 hours before heading home by bus. Then one young man slid into my DM His message was: “Hey Ife, saw your tweet, how much is Uber to get you home? It’s Christmas and I feel it’s right for you to be home celebrating with family.” Me: “I appreciate your kindness but I can actually afford the Uber, I just don’t want to spend that much because the shift was only 10 hours”. The fear of “this you 🫩”.” Him: “Nah, I don’t mind. Send your account details.” I reluctantly sent it and this man credited me £100. Out of curiosity, I went through his media, he was just a small account, not verified, He appeared so peaceful, his acc? So clean, demure with no chaos but surprisingly he had only relocated 2 months earlier 😔 Two months ago? That was when I knew there’s actually a difference between japa and relocation because somebody who japa (escaped) just 2 months ago cannor b dashing me £100 😂 The funny part was that he didn’t disturb me afterwards. No weird vibes. No entitlement. Nothing. That alone made me want to know him more, so once in a while, I’d randomly DM him just to say hello and appreciate him.. We became close and maybe talking stage 😜. One day, he invited me over for dinner. Omo, I rushed to River Island, bought a nice jumpsuit, heels and styled my hair properly.. the shopping cost me £210 He asked if he should book an Uber to bring me from my city to his, but I declined because I knew it would cost him too much 😭 Me instantly: “Nah… I’m keeping this one with everything in me.” 😂 DJ, play me: 🎵 “Elo lowo ori e sho Gba one million dollars…” 🎵 (How much is your bride price? One million dollars?😋) When I got there, he was so calm, extremely handsome and I felt so comfortable around him instantly.. mind you, that same day, my friend had invited me to a night party in his city. I packed a small box with a nice night out outfit to switch looks.. After our dinner in a nice fancy restaurant, we got home so I changed into a nice short dress for the outing while he assisted to wear my Statement Pearl Choker necklace and zip that ended with affectionate neck kiss.. you already knew what happened down there 😎 Throughout the night he kept saying: “Damn, You look so pretty, Ife.” Every single time he said it, my body would react but I was acting strong outside. After the party, we got home. He had his shower , his oral hygiene was top tier.. omg, that man was CLEAN His dentition? Clean. Body? Clean. Everything neat. (I want to devour him so bad) my biggest green flags.. I was supposed to leave the next day but I ended up spending one full week We cooked together, did skincare together and honestly just had such a peaceful time. At some point, I couldn’t resist him anymore, so we started dating early 2025 Fast forward to April 2026, we got legally hitched🥹 I’m sorry but just couldn’t resist a kind, clean, tall, handsome, intelligent, smart, reserved sweet man😔 Till today, he has remained one of the sweetest men I’ve ever met.

Who called upon you?
Hope Uzodimma@Hope_Uzodimma1

My dear people of Imo West Senatorial District have once again called upon me to serve, and I have accepted this noble call with utmost humility, sincerity of purpose, and unwavering commitment to the collective advancement of our people. In furtherance of this responsibility, I presented myself before the leadership of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Screening Committee for the National Assembly Primary Election. During the engagement, I reaffirmed that the Senatorial seat I seek to occupy belongs first and foremost to our great party, while I remain only a loyal and dedicated candidate entrusted with the responsibility of projecting and advancing the ideals, vision, and aspirations of the APC to the very best of my ability. Our great party has continued to demonstrate steadfast commitment to purposeful leadership, people-oriented governance, and the delivery of democratic dividends across the nation. It, therefore, remains our collective duty to sustain and deepen this noble mission for the benefit of all Nigerians. My aspiration to represent the good people of Imo West Senatorial District at the Red Chamber is inspired by the desire to consolidate on the gains of the #RenewedHope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through quality representation, effective legislation, enhanced development, and sustainable progress for our people and our nation. - Hope Uzodimma
