@bulldog1205 Back in the day, I played a real-cash economy game that had an entire balancing department their sole job was to make sure every new feature or asset introduced didn’t disrupt or break the entire economy.

I’m tired of seeing WoW gold sellers being used as an example of how there can be demand for an web3 gaming economy. The entire business only works because it’s illegal in a wildly popular game. This naturally keeps the number of sellers down. If WoW authorized it and built it into the game the economy would nosedive so ridiculously fast. Then imagine if it was also free to play. The number of extractors would rise so high that it would not only kill the economy but also kill the community and eventually the entire game. It. Doesn’t. Work.

@DigitalLandGuy Most of the cards are also listed on the market, but buying p2p is cheaper. Also, there are some cards only available via p2p and users can still play these cards in battles until someone purchases them via p2p marketplace.
