🐸My top 10 reasons to invest in $PEPE post last year was well received so here is a 2024 update. It’s always important to look at $PEPE objectively.
1- $PEPE was born during the bear market and now one year old. It is truly one of only a handful of meme coins that have survived the turbulence of the bear market. It will not go to zero which cannot be said for 99% of other coins. At this point, does anyone believe $DOGE will go to zero? Of course not. If anything, the public (normies) will now begin to hear about $PEPE.
2- Let’s face it…Pepe is the king of meme coins and is now clearly #3 behind $DOGE and $SHIB as a memecoin and rank #26 overall for all coins. If you gonna bet on the coin that's safe but has a high market cap potential, you bet on $PEPE. At this point, you should be consolidating and choosing the winners when this bull run begins; not trying to gamble and finding more little meme coins.
3-The vast majority of people are STILL not aware of $PEPE. It’s not available yet on Coinbase spot trading or Robinhood. It's currently ranked #26 and only a matter of time. When the normies come in, thats when we hit ludicrous levels on market cap and volume. The show is about to begin!!
4- Currently, at $3 billion market cap, $PEPE is 12.7x away from $SHIB ATH of $40b and 27x away from $DOGE's $88b ATH. It has gone a long way and certainly, now has the fuel and path to get to these levels. If you think about what doge and shib has done, why couldnt $PEPE do the same? Lets be honest, are those two coins really memes? Nothing compares to the internet's history of $PEPE memes.
5-It’s healthy for prices to go down and it has had a very healthy 61.8% retracement from its ATH of 4+ billion mc down to slightly below $2b mc. Those who didn't let emotions get the best of them took advantage of this sale. Now its slowly on its way back up and is beginning to disconnect from $BTC movement! This is showing alt season is starting and that $PEPE can pump even while $BTC is moving sideways.
6-Don’t forget we are now entering the crypto and NFT bull market. Pepe prices has generally pumped hard when $btc prices are rising. Keep in mind, bitcoin historically has hits all time high's and reaches its cycle top peak around 500 days after each halving event. So. this means alt coins like $PEPE can go 10-100x during this time period. Those are just the facts.
7-If you've been here since last year and here for the long term. Now its time to win!! Don’t try to get fancy doing flips and swings but do begin thinking about your exit strategy. The hardest part now is WHEN to sell. If you believe $PEPE will be a top meme coin, just hold. You've weathered the storm which is the hard part, Don't sell it for mild to modest gains after going thru all that!!
8-When we talk about generation wealth for web 3. Most of the wealth obtained are due to luck or having inside scoop. Most projects also end in pumps and dumps and then dies. There hasn't been many projects or coins lasting long enough to become an investment options that offers a fair level playing field where everyone can get in at a reasonable price and still have the potential to get a 10-30x return. $PEPE appears to be that unicorn.
9-Fortune ALWAYS favors the Bold! But time is your most important ASSET so be bold but also choose timely..
10-In another year (May 2025), where would we be? If history repeats itself, we should be in peak crypto bull run due to $BTC and $PEPE might finally become a household name and showing up on every website and CNBC ticker as a top 10 coin. Its amazing what a year can do and with the volatility in web3, I think its important to choose the winners who have proven it can weather the storm. While its fun to speculate and gamble on the side, I think its important to also know that web3 is evolving, choosing winners while eliminating losers. There aren't going to be more coins like $PEPE to choose from. Just like once in a lifetime, you see a AMAZON or GOOGLE stock and you just have to go all in and hold it for the long term instead of trying to find the next amazon or google. You could be waiting for awhile.
