@riza_ichm @scaraameow Which is nuts! This chapter shows that she had no say and no knowledge of his decision at all.
English

@scaraameow @taehassimp I don't think so to be honest... If anything, it clears Na Haesoo's name entirely. He didn't take out a loan to make their life better, he did it because he was naive enough to believe the man who scammed him once, wouldn't do it again. His yearning for family is to blame.
English

@taehassimp nothing in the world will make me feel sympathy for him not even as a kid, whatever. I’m disappointed.
English

Ce chapitre a pour but d’attiser l’empathie du lecteur ??? Que dire…

Yall remember Kmart ? lol I’m that old fr
English

@Solchus_P HE KNEW AND DID IT ANYWAY. MINJAE LOST HIS SAVINGS BEFORE THIS TOO!
English

That's why I keep asking: HOW is this HER fault??
He took the loan under her name. He took HER seal. He didn't tell her anything.
He knew... HE KNEW, that if something went wrong, he couldn't pay it back.
This isn't denial anymore. This is a severe case of avoidance.
mari!@scaraameow
“Borrower Name: Na Haesoo” Mincheol really took out a loan under his wife’s name without her CONSENT or even telling her! all just to save his friend while fully knowing he had no way to handle the debt afterward
English

@Solchus_P Don't worry. I don't really care what keyboard warriors say. I'll never understand how they are reading the same story as me and defend that man with such voracity.
English

@Digital_Gurl I'm sorry you have to deal with that. You didn't say anything wrong, you just shared your thoughts. No one should be harassed for thinking differently or having a different point of view.
People really lose their politeness behind a keyboard and can't handle different opinions.

English

@Digital_Gurl People romanticize young Mincheol because of the 'sacrifice' he made. They tend to forget that was a decision he made alone.
The sacrifice so many glamorize wouldn't have happened if he hadn't chosen her in the first place.
He made a choice. And now he blames her for it.
English

@Solchus_P Even in the past, he treated her like a prized trophy in front of his friends and then became jokingly derisive towards her in private. He was old gung-ho when she was someone to brag about and then reality hit and he couldn't stand it.
English

@Digital_Gurl Exactly this. The 'sacrifice' keeps getting brought up like it erases everything that came after. But the man he became, the one who blames her, cheats on her, calls her cold for not begging... that's who Haesoo actually had to live with. The past doesn't cancel the present.
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse The whole situation is painful to read knowing he transforms into a man similar to her father who resents her existence and hurts her. Even with all his good intentions, I can't and won't excuse that.
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse The core issue with your talking points. You & Mincheol keep talking about Haesoo as if she isn't a human being with a will, thoughts & opinions. Haesoo didn't want him to ruin his future for her. He should have consulted her & made a decision together.
English

Bro. You didn't even need to do all of that. You could have gone to college. Gotten a diploma and a well paying job. But NOOOOOO. You wanted to play the hero so bad because satisfying your saviour complex was better than common sense. #tearsonawitheredflower

English

@Solchus_P All of this!!! I have this poster glazing up Mincheol's "sacrifice" and giving me a headache. When in the end, the man he became when reality actually hit him is not at all the rosey picture people paint of him in his youth.
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse How about something simple like moving her into the small place he already had. Yeah, it's still in the same neighborhood but there has never been a chapter where her father appeared at Mincheol's place. This alternative would have allowed him to stay on track.
English

@Digital_Gurl @themikkyverse You think he didn't know he wasn't prepared? everyone around him, his teacher's, friends, neighbors, even haeso! Literaly everyone! Ridiculed him for his action, he's well aware his actions were hasty but what other choice was there for him to take? He was young and impulsive 1/
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse And to say that about Haesoo is awful especially given her circumstances. Her father was poor and abusive but he had no means to pimp her out nor would she have let him. The more likely scenario would have been that she would have gotten a bunch of jobs then left the house.
English

@Digital_Gurl @themikkyverse And all she has is her looks, Honestly, I truly believe this was her best option at the time because, she would have been abused, pimped out and forced to marry a rich old guy by her dad. Thinking about it cleary, Heaso situation is extremely sad no matter who she goes with
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse The core problem with Mincheol is that he was not prepared for the consequences of his actions and he did not consult Haesoo before blowing his life savings on a dingy apartment for the both of them. Haesoo was upset after discovering that & even told that he shouldn't have.
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse They could have managed without throwing his future away. Good intentions & bad results. He made unilateral decisions & never consulted Haesoo about what she wanted him to do. Then when it all fell apart he blamed her for it and forced her to bear the brunt of his bad decisions.
English

@zerodiluc @themikkyverse I read every last chapter up the latest and my comment still stands. Yes, I am aware that Haesoo was in a horrible situation and Mincheol knew that long before Chapter 69. He saw the bruises before and seeing her being abused in real time really shocked him into action.
English

@Digital_Gurl @themikkyverse The author really displayed how poverty can eat away at love and change ppl to be depressed and resentful of one another. Because he could have chosen himself and left haeso but what would have happened to her in a house hold like that? Especially when she isn't book smart..

She went and found the president of the heritage foundation’s thesis and guess what conclusions he came to about the Black community…..
English

@Eulalieii People parrot opinions they see online instead of reading the story. Haesoo gave her ex-husband the boot (beat his ass too) when he cheated. Kept the ML at bay for a while & did her best to keep her distance until she fell hard. Also 30 yr women have curvy bodies. That's normal!
English
