My heart is heavy for my Principal @PeterObi. Peter Obi, the man. Not the politician. For every time, he crosses my mind, I will say a prayer for him. The stabbings from every angle. For what? Trying to help steer his country in the right direction? Showing that it is possible to be successful and not be a thief? You will not faint sir. You will find strength that only God can give. You are deeply loved and appreciated.

For the first time in a long while, Nigerians are feeling like they actually have a real say in who leads them, in the person of Peter Obi and Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso. This is a big shift from the usual system where a few people in political parties sit somewhere and decide who gets presented to millions of Nigerians. And maybe that’s why there’s so much pushback. Because for once, the people are insisting on being part of the decision. It also shows something important: the real coalition is the people. When citizens come together and say enough is enough, and decide to choose their own leaders, there’s really no stopping that kind of movement. The OK ticket reflects the true essence of democracy. A government of the people, by the people, and for the people. #NigeriaWillBeOk

It was truly an honour to be part of this important engagement alongside His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi. Thank you sir for the opportunity to accompany you to the U.S. Consulate and be part of such a meaningful discussion. What stood out most is the shared understanding that Nigeria’s future depends heavily on the credibility of our elections. As we look ahead to 2027, it is not just important, it is necessary, that our elections are free, fair, and transparent. For Nigeria to truly come into its glory, the process that produces leadership must itself reflect excellence. The path to becoming “Your Excellency” must be excellent in every sense. I believe strong institutions, protecting the voice of the people, ensuring a level playing field for opposition political parties, and building solid economic partnerships are the foundations of a thriving democracy. Finally Conversations like this gives hope that we are moving in the right direction. Grateful for the opportunity and hopeful for the Nigeria we all believe in Nigeria will be OK. -Dr. Adefolaseye Adebomi Adebayo.

This morning, in Lagos, I met with the U.S. Consul General, Mr Rick Swart, where we discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship. We focused on promoting credible elections in Nigeria, ensuring they are free from interference, and fostering a space where all political parties, especially opposition parties can thrive, and contribute. We also discussed trade and business opportunities between our countries. Accompanying me to the meeting was Dr Adefolaseye Adebomi Adebayo. The discussion was very productive, and we are hopeful that, moving forward, Nigeria’s elections will be even more credible and transparent. -PO

The first election, a lot of people let Peter Obi go on his own. This next election, the people who felt his impact/who worked with him, will actually shown up. I won't be surprised to see support from Haiti as well.

We have bailed Joy Ezeugwu. She was arrested 7:35am this morning and got to the station at 8:20am. We got to the Force Headquarters Annex at 9am. We didn’t leave until now that we completed the bail process. AfiaTv team, Uche, Barrister Kene Nnadi and two other lawyers were there to ensure she was out. Joy can never walk alone. We will take up Ifeyinwa Peace Okwudo up immediately. We will deploy every legal means. We will offer Joy Ezeugwu all the support and will always be by her side. Any student who is bold enough speak up against evil in their schools will always have our support. We will build an army of lawyers that will be ever ready to fight for justice. We will dismantle injustice and impunities in our institutions.
