@RonnyLerner I reckon four days, 80 overs a day. That’s all you get unless you bowl the other team out. Then you can finish their overs and have your’s. Increase scoring or, if under the pump, having to “rescue” a day would increase the interest.

@RalphyHeraldSun With his concussion history as well as the ease in which he went down, surely the club is negligent in allowing him to play? It’s a law suit waiting to happen and sometimes players need to be protected from themselves.

I reckon the Rioli incident was low impact so a week ban is fine. But if you want to make the case Murphy went down easy remember his concussion history including a fractured face. He has already been punched this year by Caminiti and had his nose broken in the Fogarty incident

@FitzySA I had a sports carnival once at which one of my teachers picked up cheap stickers to hand out to infants who finished their race. Only when a parent commented on the “LOSER” sticker their child received did we realise we might have a problem.

@Anncaro11 I have a converted high school into a primary with five open plans (10 classes) in twenty classes overall. Being able to target kids and teachers who need that flexibility is brilliant. I love it. Come and see.

#thedrum The catholic schools were the absolute drivers of open plan. In the schools I have worked in- low ses- I have never encountered open plan. Where are these schools in the govt sector? Mystified. 🤷♀️

Weird for Titans to lose 2 games in a row for the same thing: one called and one not called, but that ref absolutely did not want a penalty in front to decide the game.
He’s right there looking at the offside players but the crowd was too much for him.

@Maurs_5 Hands down, the Newc model of ITE is far superior + robust. Students are out on prac early from 1st year to get an early taste of the classroom, 4 week block in 2nd year, out of region prac in 3rd year and finishing with that term long Internship in 4th year.

As a teacher who trained in Newcastle many years ago it was the fact we did a practicum every year, including in our first year that I credit with helping me the most.
