SPIRHR organized a specialized training session on post-partum IUDs for OB-GYN residents at SPHMMC on April 29-30. The program aimed to equip residents with PPIUD skills and boost the adoption of PP IUDs.

A management team from Bahir Dar University's School of Medicine and Health Sciences conducted a benchmarking visit to the Center of Excellence for Reproductive Health at SPHMMC.

The visit enabled the team to observe sexual and reproductive health (SRH) service delivery, Family Planning (FP) subspecialty training, and the Center’s advanced training infrastructure.

Discussions were held, and both institutions reached agreement on key areas of collaboration, including the initiation of a Family Planning fellowship program at Bahir Dar University. SPIRHR played a key role in facilitating this collaboration.

We've successfully concluded our 2-week intensive training in Addis Ababa ,partnering with ECSACOG & WHO/AFRO. This dedicated group of healthcare providers mastered skills in SRH, high-risk pregnancy management, & Ob/Gyn ultrasound. #SPIRHR #ECSACOG #WHOAFRO #MaternalHealth
