The Founding Fathers never gave us the right to secession, as they knew anytime we'd have an election or a recession we risk the country ripping itself apart. Instead they gave us the right to bear arms, so, should the need arise, states can have a chance to fight for secession.

@video_invasion @RealUCBfosho I don't know if there's any good movies about it, but the French Paratroopers in the Battle Of Dien Bien Phu were all told, this was a suicide mission, they wouldn't be able to come back for them, and thousands went in anyways, refusing to abandon their brothers in arms.

@Empireaesth In Europe the British were thrown off of the Continent in 1558 by the French, and since then have only managed to return with the assistance of an ally. The British were thrown from most of the livable parts of North America in 1783 by their own colonies.
