@TerryFranconia That along with being TOO much of a players’ manager. A lot of big contracts in that locker room but they had the same approach game in and game out. Come playoff time just throw the lineup low and away and you’ll succeed. Also his bullpen management was trash.

Rob Thomson was a good manager who rode a magical 2022 season into some solid seasons but my lasting memory of him will be his poor playoff decisions like pulling Wheeler for Alvarado or putting in Kimbrel or starting freaking Weston Wilson in a game 4 elimination game
