I think the lead dev or owner of the studio back in early february made a post vaguely hinting at purchasing the rights back from epic with another round of investor funding. It might be a bit before they can buy out

For all the flak these guys have gotten, they locked in with Lord of the Fallen, made it a solid game, did right by their players, and were rewarded for it for it. Feels like the industry is healing a bit when even investors are starting to back a player first mentality.
