🚨 High School Wide Receivers 🚨 Your film is your resume. College coaches are not just evaluating catches and touchdowns. They are evaluating your ability to separate, understand leverage, compete, finish plays, block in the run game, and execute your role within the offense. This graphic breaks down what coaches want to see from: ✅ X Receivers ✅ Z Receivers ✅ Slot Receivers Each position is evaluated differently based on alignment, responsibilities, route tree, versatility, and how you impact the game. When building your film: ➡️ Show complete routes, not just catches ➡️ Display effort every snap ➡️ Include blocking and run game involvement ➡️ Show how you adjust vs man and zone coverage ➡️ Highlight football IQ, body control, and competitiveness ➡️ Demonstrate versatility through motions, alignments, and different route concepts The best films tell a complete story about the player, not just highlight plays. College coaches want to answer 3 questions: 1️⃣ Can you get open? 2️⃣ Can you make plays? 3️⃣ Can they trust you? Make sure your film answers all three. Coaches, players, and parents, feel free to share this with recruits preparing their highlight film this offseason.
