As we await more details, please join me in praying for the innocent victims celebrating the New Year, their families, and law enforcement officers who saved lives during the attack in New Orleans.

It goes without saying that this was not the result we had hoped for. I will have more to say and many more thanks to give in the coming days, but I wanted to thank my family, my staff, and every person who voted, who volunteered, who sent a message of support, and who contributed to our campaign. Running as a first time candidate against a powerful career politician is never easy, but I was honored to have the opportunity to be that alternative. Thank you so much.

I had a great time meeting voters with my wife Kim last night at the Market in Milton and this morning at the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Looking forward to meeting many more this weekend! Early voting ends Saturday!!
