@GiannisWorld @OppPackGiannis @LegionHoops Not necessarily true, the record isn’t spotless, but establishes that the NBA is comfortably ahead of most international teams. It also important to note that these were mostly meaningless exhibition games, so probably not playoff level effort.

Not only is Stew being a hypoctit with their backend development scraping other devs data, but multiple Hi-Rez releases have attempted to steal market share from Valve. Smite targeted DOTA players. Paladins appealed to the TF2 faithful. Rogue Company incorporated CSGO mechanics. Hi-Rez has been the ones observing trends and capitalizing on others proven success.

I understand if it gives you in particular an ick, but a large age gap when the younger is in their late twenties or older doesn’t seem that outlandish to me. As long as both parties are mature, consenting adults, should it matter to outsiders as long as the relationship is healthy for both individuals?

@bluejayonx @JaharaJayde They have said they are keeping Dillamond, and they will be a goat, so I have fairly high hopes they will stick close to the stage show. Schwartz was in the NPR tiny desk concert, so he is still close to the shows leadership.

@TheOtherFrost The update show made up my mind. The free Divine Legacy skin that is cross gen is a recolor of an existing skin. If it takes 2 months to port a skin from UE3 to UE5, why port an unpopular model and recolor it? Hi-Rez can shove their legacy gems. Transfer my skins.

@kittychipz Any genre you are specifically looking for?

@FancyOrb_ @ErrnieGerrn Rust has to be one of the only games where you can access DLC items without owning the DLC. I’m not even referring to taxing/taking them from other players, you can join any number of modded servers and spawn them in for yourself. The Rust community is just cheap.
English

I'm always reading community feedback, and from what I gathered, these might be the biggest reasons our player base chose not to vote for Rust
This is going to be long, bare with me
1. The DLC's are def a big factor. I think we received around 8 DLC's this year and they've been almost a monthly theme. The players are definitely seeing this as a "money hungry" move rather than an addition to content. As much as I love them, I have to be unbiased bc there are a lot of players who can't afford these, therefore leaving a split in the community. To buy all DLC's and experience the full Rust experience would cost $179 (not including Steam tax or the game cost itself). These players who can't afford it are simply feeling left out. What's the only way they can voice this? By not voting for Labor Of Love
2. A good chunk of the community feels ignored. Now, there were a lot of cool things added this year like the attack heli, parachutes, homing missile, jets etc- but there have been a lot if issues the player base has been begging to be fixed. Things such as brighter night, progression on anti-cheat, performance increases. When almost the entire community (creators included) have been expressing these, but see no progress and instead receive DLC's and new random items, it doesn't sit right with them. How can they make their voice heard? By not voting Labor Of Love
I love Rust, I love the content being added, but this year, I do believe we were milked slightly which creates a separation from the players to devs.
I personally think it would be a good idea to slow down and have QOL changes for a good 2-3 months. Obtaining the current player base is just as important as gaining new ones. This will also encourage former-loyal players of rust to return to the game. Building trust between a creator and their audience is the exact same as building trust between a dev and their player base.
This thread wasn't meant to bash you guys, but rather provide a new perspective of what you may not see <3

Labor of Love for a game that hasn't had any real updates in a year and a half.
Most Innovative for a loading screen sim copy paste of the last 4 titles.
What's wrong with ya'll?? 😅 yes i'm salty

@TheOtherFrost Bradbury’s short stories are by far some of his best works. He really had a knack for world crafting, even in his short works. Somewhere a Band is Playing is still one of my favorite pieces of Americana literature.

@theslyfoxninja @80sENCLAVE Are you okay man? Genuinely asking.
English

@theslyfoxninja @80sENCLAVE How exactly has gameplay and design changed? I can understand arguing the switch from top down to third person, but other than that the core mechanics are relatively untouched. Player driven narrative where choices have impacts on the outcome, the classic “Bethesda” RPG model.
English

@DingoBro512 @80sENCLAVE Given the fact the gameplay and design has changed with every Fallout game I'll just disregard those "points", but by all means please cry more you literal man child lol.
English

@theslyfoxninja @80sENCLAVE Not sure when you joined the series, but most people would agree that “Fallout” is a full package; design, gameplay, and lore. The same way Shelter is just a mobile game with a Fallout skin, 76 is very much a cheap MMO masquerading as a Fallout RPG.
English

@DingoBro512 @80sENCLAVE I mean he is wrong, the gameplay isn't what makes it a Fallout, it's the lore.
English

@masterbread13 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre Other than picking sides in the BoS quest line which is purely cosmetic, which choice actually has any impact on the story? Every “choice” leads to the exact same end state for the storyline.
English

@DingoBro512 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre Yes. It's instanced. I am not arguing that, but they're still choices that effect your individual experience with the game
English

'76 is a beautiful & grotesque post-apocalyptic world that oozes Fallout. Its unhinged. Its terrifying. Its compelling.
It is Through the Looking Glass, and *you* get to be Alice.
'76 is what happens when you go down the rabbit hole.
Those who don't like it can stay up top. 🐰
TKs-Mantis@TKsMantis
Fallout 76 isn't Fallout. It offers fun experiences for people who are looking for a bit of a different take on an online FPS, but it's lightly painted with a Fallout skin. I love that people enjoy it, but I can't take it seriously when it comes to being in the Fallout series.
English

@masterbread13 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre *settlers not responders
me, even though I would have blown Paige away the first time I met him in previous games. The enclave is still your only option to launch nukes. The raiders and settlers are permanent factions no matter if your character is lawful good or chaotic evil.
English

@masterbread13 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre No, really. How many choices have notable impacts on the game world? Even the ones that do have choices like BOS only impact your instance. Once you step outside the instanced interior everything is the same as Joe Shmo next to you. I’m stuck with responders talking down to 1/2
English

@76Theatre I think this is the least “RPG” Fallout has ever been. Your actions have no consequences, every NPC in marked essential for the entire story, and there are exactly 0 player choices that actually matter.
Sure it’s a Fallout sandbox, but it definitely isn’t a Fallout RPG.
English

@Ah___Puch Isn’t Ra considered a burst mage who does damage from distance as a glass canon.
Bake is a guardian who will be able to max out prots and dive back lines.
Ra’s skill floor is low, but requires game sense and positioning to use effectively.
Bake’s hardest mechanic is holding M1
English

@CallMeMast Not to mention that he is a guardian. Hi-Rez can call him a “guardian solo laner” all they want, in lower MMR lobbies he is going to be picked as support and throw.
After release he will be irrelevant because he will never be able to exist in a balanced state across all ranks.
English

@CallMeMast This shouldn’t be controversial, Bake is absolutely going to be the new skill floor(not saying he can’t have a high ceiling). He’s build defense and hold M1 levels of easy.
I wonder if his art design being so good has anything to do with people defending the lazy mechanics.
