As a data scientist, am I the best statistician in my group? Of course not. But do I make damn sure the code I write is high quality? No. But do I work hard to understand the details of the application more deeply than anybody else on the team? Also no.

@davidjxcarter @JamesBrown_Stat and I are always amazed at how you can transform those numbers into a fascinating story, and we are relieved that the lawyer didn’t bill us for the many hours he spent patiently explaining legal theory to the nerds.

This work is fun but hard, but made possible and actually enjoyable by my great coauthor and collaborator @DinkumData (Adel Rahmani) who with our usual partner in crime James Brown very patiently explain numbers to the lawyer.

@wragge Thanks Tim! There’s a weird issue with my notebook where Altair figures appear in duplicate, or even triplicate once they are rendered on NBViewer. I'm not sure what’s going on, but hopefully it’s not too distracting...

I just couldn't resist taking a peek. I meant to do a quick analysis of the collection but then I got sidetracked by a word that kept popping up: "Vitadatio". I'd never heard the name, and so off I went down the rabbit hole...
