I hadn’t even considered this but wow, what a tragedy. My grandpa (also a big smoker, also paying for it in his later years) was brought close to death’s door by the ashes and smoke when Portugal had massive fires right next to his house in Leiria a few years ago.

To me, one of the best lessons we could learn from David Lynch is to stop demanding explanations of every piece of art from the artist who made it and instead let the art talk and decide what it means individually to you. What a richer way to experience the world.

i’m fairly certain the original velvet room in persona was also inspired by david lynch through blue velvet. i’d even argue that lynch’s catalogue as a whole can be felt throughout the persona series. really neat stuff.

@rmotafreitas Completamente. A terceira é a melhor (e IMO uma temporada de crime drama 10/10 em qualquer escala) Entre a S2 e a S3 mete-se os Defenders (crossover estilo avengers mas de NYC, com a Jessica Jones, Luke Cage e Iron fist) que é giro para Marvel fans mas não tão essencial
