In the presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri @mpprataprao , a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between AYUSHEXCIL and the Spices Board of India to promote global collaboration in AYUSH products and medicinal spices. The MoU was signed by Dr. @AnuraagJhansi , Chairman, AYUSHEXCIL, and Shri M. S. Manivannan, IAS, Secretary, Spices Board of India. The partnership aims to strengthen export promotion, quality assurance, standardisation, research, innovation, and international market development for functional foods, nutraceuticals, herbal extracts, and value-added Ayurvedic and spice-based products. Both organisations will also collaborate on branding initiatives, traceability frameworks, capacity building, Codex engagement, and joint participation in international trade fairs and promotional activities. The OPD Yoga & Naturopathy Unit, UCMS & GTB Hospital, under CCRYN, Ministry of Ayush, successfully conducted an IDY Countdown Day Event on 25/05/2026 at Lecture Theatre-1, UCMS & GTB Hospital. The session featured an informative lecture by Dr. S. Anburani, Senior Consultant/Physician, on the topic “Role of Yoga in Prevention and Management of Diseases” highlighting the importance of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The program was followed by an energizing Y-Break Yoga Session conducted by yoga therapists Mr. Ashish Mishra & Ms Ritu Tyagi, encouraging participants to incorporate short yoga practices into their daily routine for better health and stress management.
