We extend our deepest condolences and prayers for the victims and to all those affected by the devastating shooting in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. As a Catholic school community, we mourn the lives lost and stand with students, staff and families during this time of profound sorrow.

As we approach the Christmas break, we extend Christmas blessings to our DPCDSB community. May your holidays be filled with peace, joy, and hope. We wish you a restful break and look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026! Schools will reopen on Monday, January 5th.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. This day recognizes Survivors of residential schools, the children who never returned home, and their families. We wear orange today in honour of them, and as a reminder that #EveryChildMatters.

Congratulations to the St. Anne and St Ruth CES communities on the opening of their two new schools yesterday! DPCDSB’s proud tradition of excellence in Catholic education continues at these new Brampton schools.
