as a food tech graduate, i feel like there are a lot that we need to do to protect the future. Now, it doesn't seem that bad, but if we start when it seems bad, it means that we're to late. From now on, if you have food waste, don't just shove it in the trash. Instead, put it in soil, it will give more nutrition to the plant. Of course, not all waste should be treated like this.
To put it simply, wastes like banana peel, or fruit skin, anything that comes from fruits or veggies, will be save and beneficial for the soil. So let's start from that

Have you ever noticed how the products in supermarket are often so beautiful, so clean that you wanna buy it?
The society might think that if it looks perfect, it will taste the best to, right?
But no, we, in the food industry, are forced to comply to the 'perfect' standards, so we have to sell the not so perfect ones way cheaper, or worse, throw it away even though it actually contains the same nutrition all along.
This is one of the big reason for food waste from producers. In my opinion, it is natural for fruits or veggies to have an dented or not so perfect shape. Why? Well because it's from nature. We can't decide and set what kind of shape that we wamna grow, right?
For me, as long as it contains the same percentage of nutrition, no dangerous substances in it, then why not? These days, we need to manage our resources well, so that the future can still be with us, our children, etc
