@kmopotato @jaguahovy @rel_illustrator Yes, if seen it used like this. But I’ve never seen it used as a positive reaction. Although now I see another comment mentioning it’s use as a positive reaction, so perhaps I’m wrong.
English

@Dirty_Cookies @jaguahovy @rel_illustrator It's usually used playfully, it's almost never used seriously

海外のオタクが絵に残すコメント、
直訳すると全部ヤバい
「Delete this」

(本当の意味:才能ありすぎて存在がしんどい。俺がおかしくならないよう自重してくれ🙏)
「Why would you do this to me」

@Graftical That depends. I found several expensive ones, and the few that were cheaper were literally just the cover or costing the launch price.
English

did they just go on ebay and sort yo-kai watch games by high price first cause this is not accurate at ALL
Dexerto@Dexerto
A game studio is being criticized for doubling down on anti-piracy policy by fans who say their games are impossible to get overseas Fans argue Japanese developer Level-5 doesn't distribute their games internationally, with some secondhand copies costing $1,800 on eBay
English

@Dexerto @agentspecthare “Fans argue Japanese developer Level-5 doesn't distribute their games internationally, with some secondhand copies costing $1,800 on eBay”
This argument is completely irrelevant for those who aren’t retarded and can use google.

English

@snettik1 Unless the original has a lot of R18 content (outside of h scenes as well), wouldn’t it be possible to release it with the h scenes removed? I’d assume fans would be able to add the h scenes back later.
English

@yippeekiyay_mfs @TheGoldenSmurf Not sure if it’s the same thing that you want but some VNs on Fanza have a browser version.
English

@TheGoldenSmurf are there any more vns on browser? i was quite surprised to know that tsukihime was on web
English

Geez lol, the amount of japanese tweets wanting this to be taken down, despite the original Tsukihime visual novel being abandonware territory for decades.
This online fan release is still up after like 2-3 years so safe to say Type-Moon doesn’t even care anyway.
.oel(レオ/ 레오)@swaggrindset
just reminding everyone that you can play the original Tsukihime on your browser right now tsukiweb.holofield.fr

@Elyerar2020 @DublesEsteban @SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon The topic of this conversation is about the statement “Piracy is always a service issue” not how it affects companies. Your comment is completely irrelevant.
English

@Dirty_Cookies @DublesEsteban @SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon Yeah, so important to have like 15 people playing the game early, that will certainly transform the game in an economic failure.
Oh, wait, Zelda still sold pretty well in the west, almost as no one cares that someone leaked the game beforehand.
English

You’re basically exposing to everyone that you’d rather your title stay Japanese because you do not wish to give others the option to legally purchase the products you’re telling people to purchase. Have you no shame? You’re the reason people resort to piracy in the first place.
English

@DublesEsteban @SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon How is this a service issue for companies to sell games? “Piracy is always a service issue”, no you just don’t want to pay for your games.
English

@DublesEsteban @SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon I rarely see them sue emulators. The only one recently was the emulator (Yuzu I think?) that let people play TOTK early, which also had users pay for certain features.
English

@DublesEsteban @SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon Sorry I’m not sure I’m getting what you mean. you’re saying it’s Nintendo’s fault that they got their game pirated because some were able to get the (non pirated) game early?
English

@Dirty_Cookies @SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon In fact, that argument is really bad; it's not piracy's fault, it's Nintendo's distribution network's fault (very similar to Pokémon where they report that expensive cards are stolen from them at the factories before being put in the packs).
English

@SonOfCairne @SinscoShopSoon “Piracy is always a service issue”
Stupid Nintendo not releasing TOTK 2 weeks earlier, deserved to get pirated a million times before its release.
English

@SinscoShopSoon I suppose they are 18 y.o. idiots who don't know how the world works. Piracy is always a service issue, Gabe Newell was right. Sell the product to your customers and it mostly goes away. If L5 and the Japan fanboys are unable to understand that, then go bankrupt but stop crying.
English

@SinscoShopSoon How are they saying any of that? Aren’t they just saying that if Level 5 doesn’t respond to this petition, it does not create an excuse for pirates (regardless of them being Japanese or not)?
English

@wa2ispeak There’s a possibility she had her route scrapped. So let’s hope she has one in Oto.
English

@xxwxxxxxx @Pirat_Nation Yes, we want 70$ (100$ to get everything) 200gb AAA games riddled with bugs released this year.
English

@Pirat_Nation Nintendo has actually lost the plot, no one is paying full price for decade old slop
English

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé recently talked about the company’s pricing strategy and why he doesnt like discounts
He compared Nintendo’s approach to the traditional crafts of Kyoto, Japan.
In Kyoto, people focus on high quality and careful work, Fils-Aimé said Nintendo works hard to make games complete and ready on the first day.
They do not want to fix or finish them later with updates, which is common in the game industry.
“This is where, sometimes, customers push back,” “We don’t discount our games. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild never received a price discount from the day it was launched. Never discounted.
Occasionally, retailers might decide to do something, but the company never discounted. And it’s part of this process:
we’re going to make it the best we can, we’re going to send it feature complete, and we’re going to charge a fair price and that price is never going to change.”
Fils-Aimé said the game industry is changing and now needs more flexibility to meet what today’s players want.
