Useful research into student use of generative AI by @Jisc - range of uses from creating structure to getting feedback to coaching (etc.). Reasons for use: patient, always there, engage in discussion (etc.). But concerns too. Over to us as educators to develop skills and support.

Led a class exercise to make "Digital Top Trumps" where students design future digital skills cards, influenced by their views, research & AI. They rated these skills by difficulty and growth opportunities. The result? a GPT wordcloud. A productive way to explore digital skills.
