Almost had a 1st world problem scare. Finally landed back in Seattle, but the top pouch of my check in luggage was wide open. I normally store my keys in there while I’m at a con. Who needs house keys while having fun with friends? It’s been a long day. I’m cranky as hell. All I want to do is get home and crash, but I’m convinced my keys got flung out of that pouch. Praying to the god of keys and karma, I try to calm down and check my carry on backpack. I gave it a 1% chance of having my keys in one of the pouches. I don’t remember putting them in there, but I’m glad that I did subconsciously. The ONE thing I didn’t get an AirTag for, my keys, could have wound up permanently missing. I got extremely lucky. If you can, I highly recommend investing in AirTags (or the equivalent) to keep track of your possessions while on vacation. I can breathe normally now. First thing I’m buying tomorrow is, you guessed it, an AirTag for my keys. Now…time to get gouged for an uber/lyft. Bye bye another $65! ;3c Nini, all. I’ll post more fursuit pics tomorrow.
