@Ray_is_Deaf i don’t get why people are saying this is dangerous, discord has had the exact same feature for a hot minute and nobody cares and you can **turn it off** if you don’t want it

SomniumSpace's community manager attempted to book me to play while not being very clear that it wasn't for VRChat and for their platform instead. When I politely declined, they continued to try to guilt trip me into playing by repeatedly expressing how VRChat doesn't pay artists and that their platform alone actually cares about their talents. When in reality... VRChat has been SUPER supportive of me and does not need to directly contribute financially. My own community pays me for my entertainment which is more than enough for me. Several staff members from VRC have kept open communications with me and other artists. I see so many of them attending so many different music events and spaces. The recently added Live Now tab has improved my community engagement and reach to new listeners, the Groups Update allowed so many venues and event upgrade their moderation and continue to curate a safe space for their passions, inclusion of a calendar and scheduled events mechanics make easier for groups to setup, etc, etc... So basically... what I'm saying here directly contradicts the sentiment that VRChat doesn't care about their performers. If the head of community / community manager has this standpoint about other VR Social spaces, then SomniumSpace is definitely a platform to avoid in my opinion.

They were calling you out, For suggesting something disgust about another creator, With O proof. You are the Founder & CEO @SomniumSpace. Explains why you have such a vested interest of make VRChat look bad. Pretty shitty behaviour if you ask me smh.
