All of the "good" IMD files done with ImageDisk are actually missing the sequence because the tool never knew to look for it. We currently are going to need to be flux imaging these disks only. And there are a limited set of tools that can handle reading and writing the disks.

Well, we now know what it takes to makes real working Nabu PC disks. But it also leads us to a few problems. There are no current sector-based disk image formats that can properly contain these disks as none of them can deal with the special sequence.

There has been lots of buzz about the Nabu PC from Canada. I never heard of it before, so wasn't particularly interested. Then I saw chatter about being able to image the disks, but they couldn't be written back to disk. Being a masochist, this suddenly became very interesting.

I also have just sold out of Apple 3.5 Sync Sensors. I’m aiming to make a small batch over the next few weeks. The Gerber files for the sync sensors are also on the wiki if you just want to make some on your own.

Assembly and testing has been completed for this small batch of Applesauce units! If you are on the wait list, expect an email in the next day or two. Unfortunately I don’t have enough for everyone waiting.

I thought I had a reasonably complete list of flux/sector image formats, then I saw this: "MAME now supports .moof files, which are disk images of copy-protected Mac disks." the DiscFerret wiki is never gonna be done, is it?

@RichardGarriott @Dominus_Exult Services seem to want bitmap not vector art. I tweaked the renderer to spit out 300dpi png images with a 16" diameter. Alpha channel for the disk in case you want to add game logos or other text before getting them printed up. I'll start making final images shortly.

@RichardGarriott @Dominus_Exult Ok, I'll take a look at that site. I can easily output an image that would exceed the resolution they could possibly print. The renderings that get posted up here are scaled down over 100x vs the source data. I'll hack on the rendering code a bit and come up with something nice.

I am planning g to make some nice metal prints of a set, starting with Akalabeth, and would love to include Ultimas 1-4 as well!
