We still aren’t solving long standing pain points. Yes, more access is good, but it’s not solving issues of sustainability for platforms, diversification of the audience so it’s not primarily composed of streamers and has a more viable route way to mainstream viewership. Content variety sorely lacks which is a big hurdle for content to stand out. Platforms providing viable tools for growth, marketing, and development so they aren’t reliant on tactics that depreciate viewership value. Eliminating burnout and grinds in a viable way that promotes better quality content. Treating creators as media business brands and conducting business as such. Eliminating issues such as chat risks, monetization limitations, off stream engagement and purpose for platform retention There are solutions. We may define it differently, but innovation to me is a myriad of sweeping changes that drastically shift, disrupt, or alter the industry across the board, at least most of it.

More pass thru of revenue (better splits for creators) lowers the bar of “making it” More access IS an innovation.
