@IMPROVingFrank We would say it’s a character based sci-fi adventure that draws inspiration from serials and mythology. It’s best when kept simple and character driven. The more “mystical” it gets, the less familiar it becomes. Thus, loses interest.

The first mistake is probably the idea of creating nostalgia. You can’t create it. The 2024 Mets invoked the same feelings for me as the 1986 Mets with completely different players and situations and a sad end. You can build on history and legacy. Nostalgia comes later.
