It was on 21 October, 1981, that Mrs Mere Tuisalalo Samisoni and Dr Jimione Isimeli Samisoni registered the Hot Bread Kitchen with a vision rooted in service, resilience, and family. One year later, in 1982, the first shop opened its doors at Harbour Centre with only a skeleton staff. From those humble beginnings, we now stand as an organisation that proudly employs over 700 people across Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Every step of this journey has been made possible through the trust of our communities, the dedication of our team, and the grace of God. As Hot Bread Kitchen opens its doors here at Damodar Arts Village, we are reminded that progress is not simply measured in numbers, but in relationships—with our landowners, our customers, and our people.
