My final “Seashore Safari” of 2022 in my sandals. I have a new technique of temping HUGE shore crabs 🦀 out to my bare feet 🦶. With grandparents and two grandchildren we carefully and kindly explored the shallow rock pools. Fav. Was a common starfish & five scorpion 🦂 🐟 fish

Whilst out for a run on the beach, DM Paul spotted this stranded Octopus and reunited it with the sea. Top job Paul 👏👏😎👌

After a long period of building trust I managed to get both hands on the ring either side of it's head; sadly it was too tight.
I could not remove it.
On a positive note the ring has not cut into her flesh & the seal looked healthy, well fed & was interacting with other seals

@Sealdiver Nice try Ben. You done what you could. Looks like cutters will be needed to remove that. I hope the seal doesn’t grow much more with that around its neck.

Sad to see this thick rubber ring around this beautiful grey seal
I was hoping to be able to remove the ring once I'd built some trust but, although I managed at one point to touch the ring, I was unable to get into a position to remove.
I will search & try again tomorrow

Spotted this illusion yesterday whilst returning from Scuba Diving. Whilst heading South over the Queensferry Crossing in Haar, it appears the suns at an angle causing a able shadow that appears to be reaching to the wrong side of the lanes.

A lad approached us today asking for help. His phone was taking a time lapse video and blew off his truck parked on the pier into the water in Fife. Felix and Paul done a marvellous search and recovery job and reunited the ecstatic owner Jack with his working pride and joy.
